Our client, based near Loughborough, is looking for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join their team. Supporting the Clinical Team to provide the best care possible for their 20 service users during their rehabilitation journey. Working alongside a team of specialists you will be experienced in the provision of care to individuals with a variety of Acute Mental health crises.
Requirements for a Healthcare Assistant
As a Healthcare Assistant you will ensure that personalised care plans are followed. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team you will support the service users on their rehabilitation journey to recover from their Mental Health Crises.
Key Responsibilities as a Healthcare Assistant
Ensure service user’s safety and dignity at all times in line with company policy
Deliver care according to the latest guidelines and best practice evidence available by maintaining skills and knowledge
Reporting and maintaining accurate records and care plans
Take responsibility for issues and resolve them
Support the Clinical Team in the implementation and delivery of personalise recovery plans
Able to manage difficult situations with compassion, tact and diplomacy
The ideal Healthcare Assistant
Experience of working within Mental Health would be preferred.
NVQ2/SVQ2 in Health and Social Care or higher essential
Keen drive to progress
Experienced Healthcare Assistant looking to take on a new challenge - 1 years’ experience minimum
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Right to work in the UK
Passion to provide excellent care and support within an Acute Mental Health setting
Knowledge of health and safety matters in relation to home care services and risk management
Attention to detail and accuracy within administrative skills and computer literacy.
Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service
Must be able to provide 5 years of satisfactory references pertinent to the role

Hours: Full time, 40 hours
Salary: £9.00 - £10.50 per hour dependant on experience
